Greetings!
I had the good fortune of growing up with asthma - asthma that was triggered by being near a cat, fresh cut pine trees (yes - Christmas trees!) or on any given day in the fall or spring (i.e. when pollen is in the air). You may be wondering 'how does growing up with asthma make you fortunate?' A very good question!
At an early age, to help combat my asthma, my parents put me in activities that ingrained the daily habit of cardiovascular exercise through sports and activities such as soccer, hockey, cross

country running and skiing.
Although I didn't fully appreciate my parents 'gift' at the time, I now believe that exercising every day has been my salvation - really! As an entrepreneur, I have the constant battle 'between my two ears' and for me, it can be very easy to go down the road of negativity and doom and gloom.
So, how do I counteract this tendency to 'go negative'? I exercise.
I find exercise is the perfect antidote to negative thinking...and more importantly supports me becoming an 'idea factory'. When I exercise, the insurmountable barriers quickly turn into challenges with concrete solutions. I also find that my thinking has clarity AND I feel incredibly optimistic!
Exercise works for me. What helps you become an idea factory?
