Greetings!

Dave Veale
Like father, like son? Maybe in some respects - Mario Caissie certainly looks like his father, Imperial Manufacturing Group's founder, Normand but his leadership style is not necessarily the same.

I spoke with Mario about what inflMario Caisseuences the way he leads, what it's like running a family business alongside his father and his journey to encourage creativity in his colleagues while using 'servant leadership'.

Read my interview with Mario Caissie.

And speaking of family businesses, brothers Don and Bob Shaw know a thing or two about the subject. These brothers own Dykeman's Hardware, a business in Saint John, New Brunswick that just celebrated 100 years in business. The store was founded by their grandfather and then run by their father before Don & Bob took over.
Read my recent interDon & Bob Shaw view with Don & Bob to find out why Dykeman's Hardware has defied the odds and survived 100 years as a family business.

There is so much to learn from leaders in family businesses. Do you have a family business story you'd like to share? Please pass it along - I'd love to hear it!
Share and Grow,

Dave
