Sue Lyons
"Coaching forms part of the solution to helping effectively manage and resolve workplace conflict. If you have a good coach and a committed employee, you can work on anything."

Greetings!

Dave Veale
I have learned so much over the last year from the leaders I have interviewed for my Leadership Unleashed Column in the Telegraph Journal.

Mary-Eileen O'Brien is a great example of one of the interviews where I walked away totally inspired by how she is bucking convention and building her business (a law firm) in a very non-traditional manner.
Mary-Eileen O'Brien

Read the interview with Mary-Eileen to learn how she overcomes her fears, makes difficult decisions and provides advice for anyone thinking about charting their own path!

Your feedback helps us choose our interviewees so we can continue to bring you relevant and sage advice as well as fascinating stories from the leaders around us. Keep the feedback coming!

Share and Grow,

JUICE

Release Your Company's Intelligent Energy Through Powerful Conversations

By Brady G Wilson

In it's 218 pages  this book summarizes what Great Leaders have been doing for a long time.  They PULL instead of PUSH.

In organizations the common approach is to PUSH or TELL others what they should do , how to do it. This often comes from the managers/leaders point of view and experience.

By really listening to understandthe other person's or groups point of view and experience the other person can then be open to the leaders point of view and experience. Then common ground can be identified and great results achieved. The concern that it takes "too much time" can be heard echoing though the company halls. I suggest that you take the time to do this work in both a short term current solution investment and a longer term relationship trust investment.

Read this book and refer to it often - you're worth it.
