Eight from ACGA

Come see the incredible shapes, textures and dynamic energy that can be achieved in clay at "Eight from ACGA," a new exhibit at the Davis Art Center.

The exhibit opens tonight with an artists' reception at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be a 2nd Friday ArtAbout reception on May 11 at 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Admission is free to the gallery and receptions.

The selection of works by nationally recognized ceramic artists showcases the versatility and beauty of clay. Participating artists are: Michele Collier, Bill Geisinger, Amy Halko, Bill Heiderich, Lee Middleman, Bob Pool, Sara Post, and Carol Wedemeyer.

"Eight from ACGA" runs in conjunction with the 23rd Annual California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Art at the John Natsoulas Center for the Arts in Davis.

The Davis Art Center is located at 1919 F St. in Davis. We are open Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
