| Welcome to the Coyote Times! |

Spring is coming on the farm. The big event last week was seeing the ice come off the lake, each year we bet on who can guess the right day. I had to take Tom to dinner at Zella's. Guess who lost--but only by a day! Please send this on to a friend for us! It won't sign them up for additional letters unless they subscribe. To forward use the "Forward to a Friend" click box above or at the end, otherwise they won't get the whole newsletter. Thank you.

These little guys have always been a top pick off the website, and when we are at a show, once we start explaining how they work--it always draws a crowd.
For those not familiar with them, the idea is to have a way to store your butter at room temperature without it spoiling. The butter is sqwushed (technical term) into the top and that is how you serve it. You put a little water in the bottom and then when you invert the top into the base it forms an air seal so your butter stays fresh. We didn't come up with the idea, it is credited to the French hundreds of years ago. They are a great gift idea, and Mother's Day is just around the corner! Find them on our website.

Isn't this a beauty?? We just got our new Flambeaux Pottery in from Bill Campbell and Kent Follette. Besides vases, we have platters, bowls, trays, amazing crystalline glazes on beautiful porcelain forms. And here are the guys that make them--Bill and Kent. | |

Bonnie Mohr is fine artist in Glencoe that we admire and have worked with on many occasions. This weekend you can also stop (after coming here!) at Bonnie Mohr's studio, for her Spring Party. This Saturday April 18th, from 8am-4pm (darn those farmers start earlier than potters!) you can meet Bonnie, see her new paintings, and find just the right original or print, some for 10-60% off. They have a beautiful farm, you can see where she gets her inspiration!
