LOS ANGELES - Cruisers can soon lend a hand to assist a 400-year-old charity-based Italian brotherhood on one of Crystal Cruises' new Christian Heritage Tours.
Nine new Christian-themed excursions have been released for the cruise line's upcoming European season that include making a pilgrimage, attending mass, contributing to charitable works and learning about architecture of centuries-old religious sites.

CANTON, Mass. - Volunteers will paint walls, repair benches and plant trees to brighten up the look of Cusco's Meracado Central, a famous Peruvian local market.
Tourism Cares, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving tourist destinations, is taking tourism industry volunteers to Peru as the company's first global outreach program on May 3-7.
