CONTRA COSTA MOSQUITO & VECTOR CONTROL DISTRICT ROLLS OUT NEW WEBSITE

- New design, New content, New features...and New address, too-

CONCORD, CALIFORNIA - - The Contra Costa Mosquito and Vector Control District announces its new website - complete with a new address:  www.ContraCostaMosquito.com.

"ContraCostaMosquito.com has something for everyone," said Deborah Bass, public affairs manager for the District. "From scientific staff to residents, from local government agencies to media personnel, we strived to create a website that presents valuable information visually as well as intuitively to meet the needs of our diverse audience. The site now offers more videos and more information-rich, interesting topics, with much more to come in the future."

Boasting a new address, ContraCostaMosquito.com is easily remembered compared to the previous one where all the letters sounded similar.

Key features of the website include a sign-up box for the popular Mosquito Bytes newsletter, media releases, and the award-winning spray notification e-mail system. Opting in and out to receive information remains in the hands of the resident. New and improved brochures are also featured and available for download. Visitors can also watch videos of West Nile virus survivors describing their extraordinary experience.
