Due to the high number of mosquitoes and the detection of West Nile virus in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by truck to control adult mosquitoes, weather permitting.
DATE: Tuesday, September 29, 2009
 
TIME: Between dusk (approx. 6:55 p.m.) and 10:00 p.m., weather permitting.
 
LOCATIONS:
    Two Areas:  Antioch and Brentwood 
 
ANTIOCH:
The area to be treated is bordered on the north by E. 6th Street and Wilbur Avenue; by Minaker Drive, E. 13th Street and Hillcrest Avenue on the east; East 18th Street on the south; A street is the western border edge.

BRENTWOOD:
The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Kayla Place, Jane Way, and Sunset Road; the Brentwood City Limits(Sellers Avenue south of Chestnut Street) on the east; Balfour Road on the south; and Brentwood Boulevard (Highway 4) on the west.

MATERIALS USED:
 
 
All products used by the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District are registered with the Environmental Protection Agency for treatment of adult mosquitoes and applied by trained and certified vector control technicians.
