Greetings!

Due to the high number of nuisance mosquitoes in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by truck to control adult mosquitoes, weather permitting.
DATE: Friday, September 25, 2009
 
TIME: Between 5:30 a.m. and sunrise (7:00 a.m.), weather permitting.
 
LOCATIONS:
    Two Areas:  Byron and Bethel Island 
 
BYRON:
The area to be treated is bordered  on the west by Byron Hwy(J4); California Delta Hwy (Hwy 4) on the north; a line extending south of Hwy 4 from the beginning of Discovery Bay Blvd to a line extending from the eastern end of Camino Diablo on the east; Camino Diablo on the south.

BETHEL ISLAND:
The area to be treated is along Taylor Road, from the beginning at Bethel Island Road on the east to the northern end of Taylor Road.

MATERIALS USED:
All products used by the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District are registered with the Environmental Protection Agency for treatment of adult mosquitoes and applied by trained and certified vector control technicians.
