YFBCA Teams up with Coaches Choice to provide a Library of Learning!

Coaches Choice is proud to be affiliated with the Youth Football Coach Association. Both organizations are dedicated to the same mission: the education and development of coaches. Why? Because both organizations know that you have a tremendous responsibility to serve the youth you coach.

Coaches Choice believes that coaches at all level deserve access to the best instructional material available; and, that is why we are dedicated to providing those resources. Coaches Choice also believes that a football coach requires an appropriate level of at least three personal attributes: a moral ethic; a work ethic; and, a mental ethic.

At Coaches Choice, we hope to contribute to your efforts to nurture each of these character cornerstones. And we firmly believe, as our official tag line states, that "Learning has no off-season TM."  We hope you'll allow us to be your educational partner in developing the very best student-athletes, regardless of what age group you coach.

We are pleased to offer all YFBA members a special educational discount of 15% Off purchases of $50 or more on any Coaches Choice products. Please visit us at www.CoachesChoice.com and use Coupon Code YFBCA15 at checkout.

Why Kids Don't Embrace the Mental Game
By Patrick Cohn Ph.D. and Lisa Cohn  Youth Video 1

Do your kids think sports psychology is only for "head cases?" Are your athletes afraid that teammates will make fun of them for doing mental training?

Most athletes don't understand the real value of sports psychology, which means they're missing a critical part of participating in sports.

In fact, 53% of the mental game coaches we surveyed reported that athletes resist mental training because they don't understand how it can help them.

At the Ultimate Sports Parent and Kids' Sports Psychology, we receive many questions from sports parents and coaches such as: "How do I get my athletes to want to improve their mental game and attitude?"
