From our Sales Staff
From time to time BMW Financial Services comes up with some pretty darn good financing deals. Well this month we are introducing the all new BMW Select Financing program. To compare standard financing and the all new select progam side by side Click Here . If you've always wanted that new BMW, but are concerned about the payments, stop in and chat with us to find out how affordable a new BMW really can be and how you can take advantage of our low monthly payment option. We even offer $0.00 down loans, and in many cases we can set up 90 days until your first payment. Let's see.....buy now and start paying next spring...Cool!
We have a great selection of motorcycles this time of year (It's difficult getting inventory in our busy summer season but we are loaded with bikes in the fall and winter...go figure!), so give us a call, stop in, or email us and don't forget we love trade-ins!
If you like playing in the dirt, we just picked up two more G450X's and right now you can save $500 off of MSRP, and get financing as low as 1.9% (plus 90 days to first payment) or $1000 in BMW accessories!
Keep on riding!

| Greetings!
Oops we goofed!
It's darn good to know that our e-newsletters are getting opened, especially since it's pretty much the only media source we now use to announce everything from events to special deals, plus our whole staff is involved in providing the qualty content that we hope you have come to enjoy, but it is my job to put it all together.
Well.....thank goodness we've got some sharp readers out there who are keeping us honest! Of course, now you've got me thinking about how I could turn this into an interesting contest by purposefully leaving a few spelling errors in each newsletter, sort of like "Where's Waldo".
I thought you migtht enjoy the following emails I received regarding our latest spelling "oops", and thank you all for not only reading our newsletters but keeping us honest!

Hey, Love You Guys... 'but'... should have title: You Lose (one "O")... rhymes with booze... (with 2 "0"s.. it rhymes with "goose" !!)
See 'ya when I get over from E. Wash.. !!

Sorry. I couldn't resist. :-)
USAGE:
The adjective loose, meaning 'not tight,' should not be confused with the verb loose, which means 'let go':: they loosed the reins and let the horse gallop. This verb in turn should not be confused with the verb lose, which means 'be deprived of, fail to keep': | I will lose my keys if I don't mend the hole in my pocket. __________________________________________
Well there you have it. We value and appreciate your input and we are working hard to provide you an interesting, informative, newsletter so please keep those ideas, suggestions and comments coming. You can reach me at gm@ridewest.com
Sincerely,
David Swezey

What's new in the Parts Department Featured Products
Thank You!
Thanks to you, the October 24th Parts Swap was a huge success and once again the biggest and best Parts Swap ever! In fact, at 9:00am we had a whopping 50 people lined up at the door! Plenty of deals were to be had, especially when it came to riding gear. Remember, if you have any gear left over and are looking to upgrade, we now take trade-ins as part of our GearSwap program. In addition to great deals, we also had a record number of participants who dropped off items to be sold. And, most of you sold at least one item if not more. So remember to pick up your unsold items and of course, your $$$ check! We're always looking for ways to make our Parts and Apparel Swap better and hope you will pass your suggestions along for the next event. You can email your ideas to apparel@ridewest.com. Thanks again and let's do this again in the spring. Hot Items: Grab-On Comfort Grips - Many of you have been asking for something to make your K-Bike grips bigger in diameter. These great slip-on Comfort Grips do just that. They can be cut to length and go on with just a bit of silicone spray. Gerbing's T-5 and G-3 Heated Gloves with Microwire - These are our hottest selling items, literally. Get hot hands fast! They heat up quicker than any other heated glove on the market and are in stock now. Click Here to visit their catalog. BMW - LED Auxiliary Brake Light - Do you stand out in traffic? Winter time is the time you need extra visibility. This auxiliary brake light is a license plate mounted LED block and provides an additional level of safety to your daily commute. And best of all, it's now available for most late model CAN-BUS BMW's. It's bright, will get you noticed, and may help you stand out just a bit more at stop-lights. We're all about safety, and think this addition to any bike is worth every penny. We also have solutions for converting your standard turn signals to LED's as well. November Clearance Sale! Helmets - Starting in November we're having a huge helmet clearance sale! Select brands and models will be on sale at up to 40% off! Inventory is limited so check out our showroom for details and selection. Leather - Here's a rare opportunity to own a legend. We have a select number of jackets and pants from Vanson Leathers on sale! Stock is very limited, so gear up now for our next years advanced street skills class at Pacific Raceways. Summer Mesh Clothing - Summer's over but the deals are not. We still have a pretty good selection of select summer mesh gear on sale at amazing prices.

Tech Tip of the Month
We've got the team to make it happen!
The western Washington rains have arrived, and as we've come to expect the pace at Ride West BMW's Service Department has slowed down a bit. This has given us some time to think about how we can provide our friends and loyal customers with continued great service through the winter months. We recently began to provide service for non-BMW brands, and feel that these cooler, wetter months may be the perfect time to get all your bikes fixed-up here at Ride West to be ride-ready come spring. Whether you want a GPS or radar-jammer on your trusty BMW, or an inverted-fork front-end on your Honda, we have the expertise to get it done right. From planning through implementation, we can help you realize exactly what you're envisioning in your mind's eye. Come on down to the Service Department and lets talk about your ideas.
Viva imagination!
Mark Eddy
Service Manager

A message from our owners: The history behind our Bike Swaps!
November 13 and 14, Friday and Saturday, are the dates of the third Bike Swap that Ride West will be conducting this year. Most of you reading this missive know what these things are about, but you may not know how the Bike Swap concept came into existance. Well, it goes back a few years.
We purchased Buckingham BMW in July of 1995. At the time the dealership operated out of a small, funky building in the Green Lake neighborhood (across from Gregg's Cycle). The building was only about 4000 square feet, which included a shed attached to the outside of the building. Bill Buckingham was respected for his technical abilities, particularly on older BMW models, and he had the shed stuffed with used parts that he had collected over the years. Most of those parts came with the sale to us and we had no idea what to do with this stuff. So we decided to have a garage sale and asked our customers to bring their parts, accessories and apparel as well. We called it our Parts Swap.
A guy from Portland showed up the morning of the event with a motorcycle, having heard of the event and thought we might be able to sell the bike for him. We thought, "what the heck, let's give it a go". It sold that afternoon. That evening Ann said "you know, that bike was a good deal for the seller, the buyer, and for us. Why not have a Swap Meet just for motorcycles. We could invite all brands over a two day period and charge a small commission to cover our efforts. And if the seller's bike does not sell, we will not charge a thing."
Well, that was fourteen years ago and we have had two Bike Swap's every year ever since. And they have been so successful for buyers and sellers that last year we expanded the event to three times every year. And now, many of the bikes that do not sell over the weekend are either purchased by us or left on consignment.
These Bike Swaps have enabled Ride West to have a used bike sales department that is envied by many of our peers. And some of the other dealers have embraced the concept and have similar events of their own. So come on down on the 13th and 14th and get involved in the fun. Have a motorcycle you would like to sell? Bring it on down---it is the easy way to convert it into cash. Or perhaps you are looking for a new ride---we may have just what you are looking for. So please join us.
Ann and Keith Thye
