The past several months Elite Crete Systems has been publicly criticized for making claims about how the economy is not being affected by this economic downturn. The fact is, the first quarter of 2009 was our best first quarter ever. Trained Elite Crete Systems installers are keeping busy and there are no signs of this letting up.

 

That is not to say that our continued growth and success came easy. We have launched new products that installers are finding easy to market and sell. We have increased our budget for advertising to generate leads for our installers and we we have spent many more resources to enhance our relationship with design professionals to get our product specified.

 

When we realized that times were going to get tough we took a different approach to business compared to other companies and instead of cutting back we decided to put more effort towards assisting installers. This might have been a risk after seeing several decorative concrete manufacturers either go out of business or be bought out for pennies on the dollar but it paid off and in the end, we owe the lions share of our success to our distributors and installers.
