Messages from Episcopal Church Leaders

Dear Beloved Community of Saint John's,

Over the last nine months our community has actively engaged in a ReVision process.  We have listened to God and to each other in order to hear where God is leading us and to hear what is most important to our common life together in Christ.  We have surveyed, prayed, met in small groups, discussed and listened.  We have reflected back to one another why we are here and why others would join us.  We have talked about what we want the greater community to know about Saint John's and about what ministries and missions are important to us.
Last month the Bishop's Committee took all that and went on retreat.  Their task was to bring all the soul work of the last nine months into new documents:  Vision, Mission and Action Statements.  These documents will be our guide and our outline for what we do and who we will be at Saint John's for the next three to five years.
Last night at their monthly meeting, the Bishop's Committee formally adopted these statements.  With prayers of gratitude for all the soul work the whole congregation put into this process, the Bishop's Committee is delighted to present our new Vision, Mission and Action Statements.

By the end of three years we will:
