Teacher Training Fall 2009!!

I am pleased to offer you my next session of Karma Yoga Foundational TT focusing on Ashtanga/Intro to Vinyasa and Karma Yoga. My training gives students a solid teaching experience through the foundation of Ashtanga. We then flow into the Karma Yoga practice, our foundational class that makes yoga accessible to all levels.
 Karma Yoga Shala (RYS) offers you the opportunity to obtain the complete Yoga Alliance 200 Hour RYT Certificate and this course exceeds the curriculum requirements newly specified by Yoga Alliance in: Techniques, Teaching Methodology, Physiology, Philosophy, Ethics, Lifestyle, and Practicum, as well as my own personal interests: Detail study of The Yoga Sutras, Chanting and Ayurveda.
All RYT Yoga Shala participants will experience continued support during and after their training with potential opportunities such as mentorship, assisting in classes, as well as several other resources.
The course runs for 13 sessions with Katherine including the following sessions with guest presenters:
- Anatomy/Alignment Weekend with Sara Davidson (separate fee)
- Chakras session with Nancy McCaochan
- Ethics, Philosophy & Modifications session with Lynn Medow
The training begins Friday, September 11th, and runs every other Friday with Katherine through February 26th, 2010. Anatomy/Alignment is a full weekend w/ Sara Davidson (separate fee). The cost of this 200-hour training is $2,995. Tuition includes required books, Chakras & Modification sessions, and unlimited yoga classes during the training only.
This school is licensed under Michigan Public Act 148 of 1943 (MCL 395.101 et. seq.)
