Desk or Floor? And Other Learning Environment Tips
When we think of school, homework, or studying, the traditional picture that comes to mind is sitting at a desk or table, being quiet, and working alone. But does that meet everyone's learning needs?
 Just like other aspects of learning styles, children and adults have different environment needs for learning and working.
What environment supports you the best? How about your kids?
Did you know that the surrounding environment
can affect focus, productivity, mood, and energy level?
Explore what works best for you and for your children when working, learning,
studying, doing homework or chores...
Do you need music, quiet, or background noise? Standing at a tall table, working on the floor, bouncing on an exercise ball? Having kitty on your lap? Having other people in
the room? Working alone or with others? Indoors or outdoors?

The LearningSuccess Institute is registered as a private school in California. We offer a full elementary through high school program, and students receive a high school diploma.
