Connections
American Water Resources Association (AWRA) Newsletter
Greetings!
Welcome to the Late Summer 2012 issue of Connections, monthly newsletter of the American Water Resources Association (AWRA).
This has been a very busy summer. AWRA HQ, the conference chairs and many volunteers have been ever diligent in preparing for the upcoming Annual Conference (see article below). The conference will be held in beautiful Jacksonville, FL, from November 12-15, 2012. We are very excited about the program and events planned for attendees and encourage a visit to the conference website for more information. Readers will also notice an updated look and feel to the Connections newsletter. We were going for easy to read and professional. Let us know how we did, by emailing [email protected] with your comments and suggestions. AWRA has also hired a new Membership Services Manager. Christine McCrehin (me!) comes to AWRA with 15 years of association experience specifically in the areas of membership, marketing and communications. Not only has AWRA HQ been busy, but so have our State Sections. See articles below for specifics. If we missed a State Section or Student Chapter event, please forward them to [email protected] for inclusion in a future issue of Connections. Until next time, Christine McCrehinEditor, Connections
