But, you know that already, right?  I am writing you today to invite you to share AWRA's multidisciplinarity with your water resources colleagues and friends.  Okay, maybe "multidisciplinarity" is not a real word, but it is the best way to describe what happens when water resources professionals ~ like yourself ~ come together with folks from such a vast array of disciplines uniquely focused on water resources management.  And that's exactly what AWRA fosters ... plus a whole lot of other valuable benefits!
 
AWRA's Half-Year Regular Member Option ~

Each year in July, AWRA makes the Half-Year Regular Membership available as a great way to introduce water resources professionals to AWRA.  Dues are only $82.50 for July 1 to December 31, and Half-Year Regular members receive:
Here's how you can help spread the word ... and get rewarded!
  1. Forward this email to your colleagues (or create your own, or share it on Facebook or LinkedIn -- the "Share" button is at the bottom of the letter) and point them to our Online Membership Application (direct URL: (http://www.awra.org/join).  They may also join using the mail-in/fax-in form
  2. Tell them why you are a member of AWRA-- feel free to wax lyrical about your personal reasons for membership -- or just share the link to our membership page.
  3. Ask them to join and put your name in the "Person who recommended AWRA to me" box
  4. That's it!
For each new Regular member who joins and with your name in the "Recommended by" spot between now and October 15, 2010, we'll send you an AWRA stainless steel water bottle, and you'll be entered into a drawing for a full conference registration at your choice of either the 2010 AWRA Annual Water Resources Conference or any 2011 AWRA conference (dates & locations coming soon).  (Drawing will be held October 18, 2010)
