The East African Center is proud to share with you 

our 2011 Annual Report. 

2011, the EAC's 10 year anniversary, proved to be a very significant year for our programs as we took more steps toward our ultimate goal of financial and programmatic sustainability. Read about each of our programs and services in the report.  

In the next 3 years, we will have all systems in place for local ownership and operation and financial security for the continuation of the school and health services. 

•  Hiring a school director who will work in coordination with the head teacher to manage school operations
• Re-building the Kindergarten classrooms near to the primary school to complete the Junior school campus
• Strengthening the local Kenyan Board
• Creating more income generating activities on the school grounds, such as the successful VJS farm 
• Transitioning to a sustainable student sponsorship program
• Securing re-occurring donations and funds through increased partnerships with the Combined Federal Campaign and relationships with individual donors, just like you
