Happy February! Here's a little craft you can make with/for your little one for Valentine's Day. Draw your child's hand on a white piece of paper. Cut it out. Then take the middle two finders and bend them down until they touch the paper leaving the other two fingers and thumb flat. Tape down the two finger tips to the paper with a little heart sticker. This makes the ASL sign for "I Love You". Glue or tape the hand to a heart-shaped doilie .

Your Baby Gets His/Her Cues From You   

Are you outgoing, adventurous parents but your child exhibits extreme timidity?  Or are you quiet, reserved parents and your child routinely shows no fear? This often happens and parents may jokingly think their baby must have been switched at the hospital!

In the Baby Signs® Program the "Dr. Moms" talk about how using something called "social referencing" can affect a child's behavior. Babies and toddlers look to their parents for cues on how to feel about new things. So parents need to be aware and not unknowingly pass any unrealistic fears of their own to their "ever watching" child.

This class is focused on the older  MyBaby&Me Logo       
toddler/child (2-5 yrs.) who is adjusting to a new baby (expected to 6 mths). Children will play games, sing songs, learn a few signs, read a story and make a craft. Parents will go home with great ideas and tips to help them promote positive sibling relations when they return home. Cost for one-time class - $15.00
