who know basic signs often start talking sooner, have larger vocabularies and use longer sentences than their non-signing counterparts.

Upcoming Classes/Workshops

Learn simple signs for sea creatures while playing games and singing songs that keep your child engaged. We'll make a fun craft too and you'll go home with ideas to do at home to help your child begin to learn self-control. For ages 2-5 yrs. old.

Location: Cedar Park at Velocity Music Academy - 2301 S. Lakeline Blvd.

Cost: $15.00

Date: Tuesday, Dec. 13th

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

This class is focused on the older         

toddler/child (2-5 yrs.) who is adjusting to a new baby (expected to 6 mths). Children will play games, sing songs, learn a few signs, read a story and make a craft. The parents will go home with great ideas and tips to help them promote positive sibling relations when they return home. 

Location: Leaps-N-Bounds Childcare Center - 7010 Village Center Dr.

Cost: $15 

Date: Monday, Dec. 12th

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Another My Baby & Me class scheduled in North/Central Austin at  on Monday, Dec. 12th.

Learn how to make tummy time fun for your baby through engaging songs and activities in a play-class setting. Take home parenting tips to help you make the most of this important developmental stage.

Location: Cedar Park at Velocity Music Academy - 2301 S. Lakeline Blvd.

Cost: $50 (four class series)

Date: Thursdays, Dec. 8th thru Dec. 29th

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Also this class will be at Leaps-n-Bounds Childcare on Wednesday mornings from Dec. 14th thru Jan. 4th - 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Six-week class for parent(s) and baby (8 - 14 months). See Calendar tab for classes starting in January. $150 (includes take-home kit). See website for more details. (Leaps-n-Bounds)

Six-week class for older toddler (14 - 20 months) - more advanced parent education topics and signs. Classes also starting in January. $160 (includes take-home kit w/Baby BeeBo™). (Leaps-n-Bounds)
