Animal Health Corridor Lecture Series

Animal welfare will be the topic of a Kansas State University Animal Health Corridor Lecture Series seminar August 15 from 11:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. at K-State Olathe.

There are a number of misconceptions about animal welfare, and differing opinions and public perceptions have far reaching effects on food prices, availability, animal health and human health.  These misconceptions and their impact on the industry will be among the animal welfare issues discussed.

The Animal Health Corridor Lecture Series is an initiative of the Animal Health Supply Chain Program offered through the university's department of agricultural economics in partnership with K-State Olathe.
