"Incredible! Beautiful! Wow!"
These words were spoken over and over as descriptions
for Mabry Park at its Preview Day, November 5th.

Greetings!
Our flagship event, The Mabry Park Preview, drew a crowd of over 350 people - and quite a few family dogs!
Neighbors came together to learn more about the vision for the park, stroll through the wooded areas and rolling hills and imagine its key features: a playground, pond, community garden, outdoor classroom, and The Great Meadow.
Please go to our photos tab to see the fun! (click folder "Park Previews 2011") Lasting memories were made through a picnic with friends, the scene on an artist's canvas, or a simple savoring of the moment. Cobb County Firefighters displayed their fire truck as part of the event - a hit with residents of all ages! As an added treat, "Diesel," the popular, 4-legged employee of the Cobb County Police Department K9 unit, gave a show along with his handler, Officer Mark Blakeney.
We were so glad to meet those of you who could make it. Hope to see you again soon!
