The East Cobber Parade
Thank you, Volunteers!
Thanks to everyone who walked with us in the East Cobber Parade on Saturday, September 10th, and helped to spread the word about the beautiful Mabry Park.
The weather was perfect, and we were encouraged by all the supporters along the parade route.

Fun Fall Festivities! This fall is full of fun festivities; we will be on hand at several of the local festivals to share information about the park and help community members learn more about how they can support the park. Mabry Park will be funded by our friends, neighbors, and local businesses - let's come together as a community and make it happen!
Check out the Be sure to save these dates block to make sure you don't miss a thing!

The Power of One!
Spotlight on someone who made the difference
Last month, Nancy Miller, one of our East Cobb neighbors, decided to start a fundraising drive in her community for the Friends of Mabry Park. She reached out to other residents in her Northampton neighborhood, and the donations snowballed!
In less than a month, Nancy, with the help of her neighbors, raised over $800!
Thank you to Northampton for setting the stage and showing what can happen when neighbors pool their resources - and kudos to you, Nancy, for spearheading the efforts and taking the time to make a positive difference in your community.

The Power of 3
It's Exponential!
We often get asked how long until the park is built? We can begin to use the park as soon as we get the road built!
If you will donate $50 or $100 dollars today, and recruit 3 friends in the next 3 weeks to also do the same, we will have enough funds to build the road in 6 months or less!

Thanks to Brooks Chadwick!
Todd Thrasher of Brooks Chadwick Capital - a real estate developer - showed his support for the community by challenging other companies and individuals to match his company's donation of $10,000 to the Friends of Mabry Park.
We appreciate you for helping us to get closer to our goal of creating a park that we can all enjoy.
