Master Plan finalized in late May!

Plant rescue benefits Mabry Park

Thanks to the Georgia Native Plant Society for thinking of Mabry Park during their July 16th plant rescue, which took place less than 1/4 mile from the future site of the park. 

Sheri George led her team of volunteers in donating, to the park, many of the azaleas, ferns, and other native plants discovered in a plot of land that will soon be developed as a subdivision. Thanks to Lee Berg, a Friends of Mabry Park board member, for volunteering to care for the plants until they can be transported to their permanent home in the park.

Also, thanks to the The UPS Store in Roswell for graciously donating a lockbox to the Friends of Mabry Park to help in processing donations.

This is an exciting time in the journey of creating the park. We are increasing our community outreach, fine-tuning key areas of focus, and expanding the board to ensure we have the foundation needed to keep the momentum going strong.
