National Teacher Workshop: Teaching with Documents and Works of Art
We are excited to offer this unique opportunity for teachers from across the U.S. to work with the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the National Archives, and the National Council for the Social Studies in a three-day workshop that focuses on using images and primary source documents in the classroom. The content focus will be on the U.S. Constitution as we celebrate the 225th anniversary of its ratification. See below for more info, or check our website.

An Integrated Approach: Focus on the Constitution
Monday, July 16 - Wednesday, July 18, 2012 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Cost: $200 (covers coffee, lunches, and teaching materials)
The workshop meets daily from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and takes place at both the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Archives in Washington, D.C. Registration through NCSS is now available at NCSS's conference registration page.
