It's winter! And though today's balmy temperature may not support that statement, it will be frigid soon enough. If you're like me, holiday motivation can quickly morph into hibernation, an addiction to PBS, and a taste for every variety of macaroni and cheese one can dream up. While hunkering down in one's abode while the wind whips the trees into stark veins against the twilight sky may seem inviting, we all should get out and earn that couch time. I'm not talking about joining a gym; I'm talking about joining us for a great schedule of engaging speakers this season at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. We've got curators and experts chatting on all things from craft to printmaking. Come listen, liven up your winter, and before you know it spring will be here.

Stay warm out there!
