Donate Your Vehicle to WUOT!

CarTalk Vehicle Donation Has your vehicle been parked in the same spot...for about three years? Have your family and friends recommended that archaeologists might want to excavate it? If so, donate any of your unwanted vehicles today to WUOT via the "Car Talk" Vehicle Donation Program! We'll gladly take cars, motorcycles, planes, boats, RVs and even heavy farm equipment. They don't even have to run!

You get rid of the ol' heap, WUOT gets the proceeds, and you get a tax break! Everybody benefits and you will have helped keep public radio on the air!

The donation process is quick and easy. Visit the vehicle donation website to learn more or call 866-789-8627.

Thanks for your support of public radio!

FROM THE NATIONAL DESKS

strawberryClones Are Berries Two
Strawberries have hundreds of seeds each, but commercial growers don't use any of them -- instead, they clone the most successful plants. But how can growers go organic when fungicides are all that reliably keep disease off genetically identical plants?

 copper MongoliaWhile The Getting's Good
Copper is rare, and Oyu Tolgoi, a mine in Mongolia, is getting richer by the day. Thousands of young Mongolians are trying to get a piece of the wealth -- but will international miners squeeze them out?

Toby Groves never meant to defraud banks -- and get others to help him. How could a basically decent person end up being so unethical?
