My luck finally ran out, as the storms that are revenging the country from floods in the Midwest, along with record heat, and fires in Arizona caught up with me. A micro burst hit us in Columbus, OH last weekend, along with torrential rains and hail, and my trip out to the Midwest was cut short, as I had to pack it up and return to New York to regroup. 34 artists had damage, some had more unfortunate losses than I. My tent collapsed, walls tumbled, and all the work fell onto the panels. Most of the frames were lost, the work was saved for the most part, but all had to be dismantled in short order and is sitting in my studio. In order to head out to Chicago today I've worked tirelessly for 3 days after returning from Ohio. Hoping for better weather en route, looks like record heat will subside, do Chicago, and head straight to Virginia Beach. This life is not easy!
