Catfish Attempts to Swallow Basketball!
A man who lives at Lake Conroe (50 miles north of Houston ) saw a ball bouncing around kind of strange in the lake and went to investigate.
It turned out to be a flathead catfish that had apparently tried to swallow a basketball which became stuck in its mouth!!
The fish was totally exhausted from trying to dive, but unable to, because the ball would always bring him back up to the surface.
The guy tried numerous times to get the ball out, but was unsuccessful. He finally had his wife cut the ball in order to deflate it and release the hungry catfish.
You probably wouldn't have believed this, if you hadn't seen the following pictures:

From Our Winning Team to Yours
By Kyle Lehne, VP Sales & Marketing

With some of our most cherished holidays just around the corner, I thought it would be nice to reiterate how fortunate we Americans are to be able to enjoy our many freedoms without fear of reprisals from our government. Does it ever seem difficult to keep your sanity when it seems the rest of the world is losing theirs? Peaceful dissent is what differentiates our great country from so many others. We may not like the protestors we see on the news these days, disrupting all sorts of things, but our Constitution backs their right to air grievances so long as it is done peacefully. 2.5 million dead and wounded American soldiers have defended these "Rights" since the Revolutionary War.
One of my favorite holidays-Thanksgiving Day-is a very special time of year, when family and friends gather around the table for a real feast of Turkey and all the fixings; including plenty of delicious desserts. The Plymouth Pilgrims were the first to celebrate Thanksgiving in the fall of 1621. Governor William Bradford, a Pilgrim leader, organized the first Thanksgiving feast and invited the neighboring Wampanoag Indians to the celebration. The feast lasted three days. In 1789 and again in 1795, President George Washington issued the first and second national "Thanksgiving Day Proclamations". In 1863, Abraham Lincoln issued a "Thanksgiving Proclamation" setting aside the last Thursday of November as the national day for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Day was changed annual thereafter until Congress ratified it for good in 1941 as the third Thursday of November.
The first 10 months of 2011 have been challenging for most everyone on the planet. Economies around the globe, particularly in Europe, have been teetering on the brink of insolvency. Here at home, unemployment remains high, the economy is sluggish, and our growing debt is piling up higher than anyone would have ever projected. Running a business-large or small-requires a determined focus on controlling expenses and managing growth opportunities as never before. In spite of very low interest rates, borrowing money for expansion is very difficult at best. Companies must remain vigilant in controlling accounts receivable, and in handling customer concerns professionally and quickly. I am optimistic about the future of America and want to thank you all for your loyal support. May God bless you and your family. |

Lubricant Tip of the Month -
How to fix a foaming problem
"We have recently noticed a significant increase in foam in one of our lube systems. A supplier recommended adding an after-market anti-foam agent. Is this a good idea?"
While in some circumstances adding an anti-foaming agent may resolve the issue, it generally is not a good idea to add any after-market additive to a lube system. If foam has traditionally never been a problem but has suddenly started, think about treating not the symptom (the foam), but the cause.
