      Is it my imagination, or is 2011 flying by at warp speed? In just a couple of months the holiday season and a brand new year will be upon us. The first ten months of this year have been filled with many economic and social challenges for most countries and business enterprises around the globe. We have faced the threat of financial Armageddon in the European Union; the severe drought and associated wild fires in Texas; natural disasters and the accompanying wind and rainfall which caused severe flooding in many regions of the U.S.; starvation and disease affecting over 15 million people in Southern Africa; wars in the Middle East, and drug related slaughter in Mexico; threats from our enemies; market volatility in equities and commodities; political wrangling, and the ongoing concern among entities of every sort in connection with the impact of piling on more and more debt in the good old U.S.A..  

       It is with this backdrop in mind, and slate of challenges that businesses, organizations and government related operations of every size and type have had to craft their budgets, strategic initiatives and long term planning. Teamwork has never been more important. The same is true for eliminating any unproductive areas of our operations. Improving productivity and the effectiveness and efficiency with which we operate our businesses, coupled with a total commitment to superlative customer focus, has never been more critical.

     Sun Coast has enjoyed double digit growth in 2011 by remaining true to our core values. We have invested a great deal of capital this year on physical and human resources. Our head count has doubled, and we acquired a couple of outstanding wholesale companies with a proud tradition and proven track record of serving the fueling needs of hundreds of customers for decades. It's true that Sun Coast markets products in over 30 states, supplying hundreds of millions of gallons of petroleum products a year, and providing a wide array of marketing and price management programs to make our customers' operations run without a hitch. Our vast and modern delivery fleet, and emergency response arsenal operates around the clock, throughout many areas of the country. We want to thank you for your loyal support during very difficult times for our nation. Together we will continue to be unbeatable.
