Regis University 5th Annual CSI Workshops

Dean A. Beers, CLI, has been scheduled to present his "Woodchipper Fatality - Investigation and Identification" case to the attendees of the 5th Annual CSI Workshops at Regis University in Denver. This case gained national and international attention as one of the few recorded such fatalities in recent memory. This case was peer-reviewed in the Journal of Forensic Identification, the official member publication of the International Association for Identification, of which Mr. Beers has been a member since 2003.
Mr. Beers
is dedicated to the professionalism of the private investigative industry. He is one of 76 active Certified Legal
Investigators worldwide, of four in Colorado and the only CLI in northern
Colorado. In addition, he is the Region 6 Representative for CLIs. His training and experience in
death investigation are essential to his work involving injury causation,
personal injuries and death investigations in civil and criminal litigation. In addition, he is the VP of Membership for
the Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado; Membership Chair for the National Council of Investigation and
Security Services, and is a regular contributing columnist to 'The Legal
Investigator' for the National Association of Legal Investigators - 'Forensic
Focus'. He also holds memberships in the
World Association of Detectives, National Association of Medical Examiners,
International Association for Identification, Mensa, and other professional
organizations.
