Tax Relief Act of 2010

February 11, 2011

Now that we are entering the tax filing season for individuals and most business returns, we wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of some significant tax law changes.  On December 17, 2010, President Obama signed the Tax Relief, Unemployment and Insurance Reauthorization and Job Creation Act of 2010.  The new law extends, renews or enhances a large number of individual and business tax incentives.  This letter is intended to highlight the key individual and business tax incentives in the new law.

To our clients, please note the tax organizers were mailed out in January.  At this time, you should have the majority of your tax information and may be awaiting some Schedule K-1s.  We would encourage you to complete the organizer and contact our office to set up an appointment or inform us that your are sending in the completed organizer.  If you need a replacement copy of the tax organizer, please contact us and we will issue you a new organizer to assist you in pulling your tax information together.

Very truly yours,
