A NEW LIFE FOR THIS FAMILY
Dennis, John and Lot, were sent to our school unit from regular education because it was believed that they were disabled. In fact, they were so malnourished at that time, they could not function in school. Thanks to our lunch program, Dennis and John are now reentering the regular classroom. Your participation this season at our craft fairs and the donations that you have sent in will help us enable this family to begin a business raising chickens and selling the eggs. We will be sending the first installment to build the chicken pens in January and are estimating that within six months, Raheel (mother) and the boys will be earning $8-$10. dollars per day with their business. Raheel has a disability, as does her one son Lot. Our teacher Victor has volunteered to help her start her business and oversee the project. The pictures in the upper and lower right hand corner are of the house they currently live in. We look forward to sharing with you, their progress toward a better life. Know this holiday that YOU HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE! |
