Greetings! ,
It seems like summer has just began and it is time to do those summer chores like work in the garden and mow the lawn. What happened to all of those picnics we were going to have and those ball games we were going to go to? It is now time for the kids to go back to school and for some of us to think about which football game we are going to or what time the cross country meet starts. It is also time for many of us to think about getting out to Lodge, Chapter, Council, Commandery, Eastern Star, Scottish Rite, Shrine, and Rainbow along with all of the other Masonic groups that we may belong to. You joined one or more of these organizations for one reason or another and they need your continued support. Did you know that Masonic organizations donate over $2 million dollars a day to our Masonic charities? Just think about that for a minute. That is over $14 million dollars a week. On top of that I am sure many of us help to support many other groups and charities outside of Masonry with our time and money. It all starts with the Blue Lodge because without that none of the other Masonic groups would exist. You are the fuel that keeps the engine going.
I know many of us are also part of Rotary, Kiwanis, the American Legion, the Moose, the Elks, the Eagles, the VFW and many other groups. They also need your time and efforts. You joined the Blue Lodge for a reason that only you know. Was it to get more light or become a better man? Maybe it was because it was the thing to do in your family or because a friend was a member. It really doesn't matter. We are all here now to help make good men better. I believe that because of you there are people that get scholarships to college, are able to have eye surgery, have food to eat, have ramps built so that they can get into their home, and just have a better life. It really is amazing to me what our Brotherhood contributes to the lives of people that we do not know and will never meet. You make good men better! I hope to see you in Lodge soon so I can shake your hand.

Special Note To The Brethren
Member's of all Jackson-Coolidge Masonic Bodies
We are in need of your email address for transmitting the electronic version of the Jackson/Coolidge MTA Trestleboard on a monthly basis. It is becoming more expensive to produce the Trestleboard due to rising postal rates and the cost to make the printed copies. (We usually print about 300 copies). If you would still like to receive it by mail that is fine too. Just let us know your preference.
