What's in a Run?
Today's article is going to be FAST! Much faster than I can run or much less walk a 5K or 10K. On Sunday afternoon we were with our team and many friends, helping people pick up their shirts and race bibs for the upcoming Thanksgiving Day morning, Thank You Run or Walk. The shirts looks awesome...
Click here to register. It is not too late and thanks to Race Central we may be able to conduct some race day registrations (if we're not sold out) on Thursday morning as well.
It was chilly on Sunday. Friends and family working for a worthwhile cause. In case you are wondering, as the Race Directors, Theresa and I will be keeping our Honda Element. All the proceeds of this event go to help victims of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and the 4S Ranch-Del Sur Community Foundation. We would like to personally thank all of you who are volunteering or running.
A special congratulations to Del Sur Elementary. As of press-time the had the most registrations from any local school. Enjoy your Thanksgiving and look forward to seeing you at the run!

I am amazed on how fast this race is filling up! It is a beautiful course combining the beautiful trails and streets of 4S Ranch. Go to ThankYouRun.org to see the courses.
Half the money raised on Thanksgiving Day goes to buying wheelchairs and comfort items for people with Lou Gehrig's disease, ALS. The other half goes to the 4S Ranch-Del Sur Community Foundation. Thanks again HBO Sports. You showed big companies do have a heart!!! See you on Turkey Day!
