Spotted Fox to be Released Wednesday
 It just did not sound right to say they we were going to "launch" a Spotted Fox. I think animal rights groups would be calling our office by about 9:15 this morning, wondering what was happening to that poor, poor fox. I can also imagine them demanding to know how the fox got those darn spots?
SpottedFox.com is actually the brainchild of local Santa Fe Valley residents Jeff Haux and Ken Maher. We all wondered what they were doing after leaving Mor Furniture. Now we know. It seems their team of mastermind developers and visionaries have come up with something pretty amazing.
Jeff was nice enough to let us in on their little secret. Spotted Fox will open in San Diego on Wednesday and is the fourth cty to open over the last few months. You probably have seen some of the Spotted Fox advertisements on television. Spotted Fox is actually a hybrid or a peek into the future of what a great daily deal company should really look like. Instead of getting junk mail, you only receive the type of deals you are really interested in and on only on days you wish to receive them. No more offers for multi colored tattoos or microbrasion for your chest, unless you said you were looking for that type of deal.

Toy Drive for UCSD Burn Center at Movies in the Park - This Saturday the 17th of September!
 A week from Saturday, September 17th, the San Diego Parks and Rec will be collecting new/unused toys for the children at UCSD Burn Center. Please bring all infant/toddler toys, stuffed animals, Barbies, Legos, puzzles and children's DVDs to the 4S Ranch Sports Park at The Movies in the Park next Saturday. Community Spotlight - 4S Ranch Soccer
 The opening day for 4S Ranch Soccer was fabulous! There were tons of residents out and about cheering on their teams. The kids were adorable, chasing the ball in a mass of cleats and shin guards. It was a sunny day and we look forward to next week when we will announce the winner of our raffle, valued at over seventy-five dollars.

6th Grade Outdoor Education Program - OVMS
 This year, your son or daughter will have the opportunity to participate in the 6th Grade Outdoor Education Program at Camp Cuyamaca. Oak Valley Middle School students will be attending camp the week of October 3, 2011. The cost of the five-day program will be $330.00 which includes transportation to and from the outdoor school, food, lodging and medical insurance.
