4S Village Fresh and Easy Arrives with a Splash!
Thursday was more exciting than usual in the 4S Village Shopping Center when Fresh & Easy construction workers broke a water pipe, sending a tower of water shooting high into the air. Luckily, Olivenhaim Municipal Water Distrtict workers arrived on the scene very quickly and were able to fix the geyser.

 Hot Summer and Cold Rootbeer
Sometimes we forget the simple pleasures in life. Our nine year old, Raymond, was piling into our car and said that he forgot what he wanted to tell me. He then said with a smile, "Dad, I think I'm in Rootbeer Heaven" That was so good! May we all spend more time in heaven and find reasons to smile.
 Swimmers Wanted!!!
Skill level is not important. Just a desire to get a work out on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 0600 to 0700 hours at our local and incredible Del Norte High School Outdoor Pool!!!
We are gathering an interest list and will be looking for an instructor to give swimmers pointers on this bi-weekly training session. Please contact our office or stop by the Commmunity Hub and leave your information. We already have about 5 people interested and once we get to about a dozen we can have a meeting and discuss the costs and the type of coaching we would like to have. All skills levels are welcome! |
