Hope you're having a joyful Christmas season. It's so easy to get caught up in all the frantic "stuff" of the season isn't it? It's also easy to succumb to the "not enough" emotions that seem to go along with all there is to do.
Take a deep breath, exhale, and think about the people in your life who make it all worth while.
I had a wonderful opportunity this last weekend to be a vendor at a gymnastic meet. It had been over a year since I had attended a meet and I was reminded of why I love this industry. It was a level 4 meet which means all the girls were young, probably 9 or 10. Their age was a little disconcerting to my 14 year old Grandson who volunteered to help me.
The thing that struck me most as I observed the crowd was the hopeful anticipation and excitement the participants and their parents shared. These little girls were so excited to be involved in what to a 10 year old must have been a truly wondrous event. The parents couldn't have been more engaged if it had been the Olympics.
Hope is supposed to be a wonderful God given response to life. Don't let life crowd out your hope with everyday worries. If you are feeling hopeless, take heart. There is an remedy.
I've been instructed to give a reason for my hope and I would love to discuss it with you.
Be hopeful and have a blessed and peaceful Christmas.
