Greetings! I agree with Mac Anderson's statement about being one choice away from changing our life. The challenge is, where do we put that choice.
Here's what I mean. We have all made choices to, lose weight, make more money, change a habit, etc. What's the difference between those who do and those who don't succeed with their choice?
Here's an example. Two people make a choice to start going to the gym and get in shape. Both are equally motivated, both start out with the same enthusiasm but in a few days one hits the snooze button for the third time and the other is up early and headed for the gym.
What's the difference? One sees the person they want to be at the end of the process and the other sees the process. One sees their fit body full of energy and feeling great about themselves and the other sees the drudgery and pain of the process.
You see, anything worthwhile will have an uncomfortable "process" attached. It will take you out of your comfort zone.
We have to begin with the end in mind! Every leader knows this. Every coach, teacher, parent and boss knows they have to paint a picture of the goal if the people in their care are to flourish.
I'm telling you this because I'm starting my book project again for the, oh, I don't know, the tenth time maybe!
Here's what I want to leave with you. Whatever your project or goal, whatever dream you have been harboring in your heart, begin with the end in mind. See the value that you and everyone else will gain by you completing your goal. So, here's to new beginnings!
I love you guys, God Bless, Don This a great little video on difference 1 degree can make, Enjoy |
