If you're older than 10 or so you have probably figured out that things don't always go as planned.  Maybe "hoped" is a better way to say it.  One of the lessons I've learned, again, is that until a "hope" is written down in the form of a game plan, or goal, it probably wont happen.

           One of the battles I deal with personally is procrastination.  I know, it's easy to say "Just do it".  I say it to my kids all the time, but it's not that easy if you're a detail person.  There I've said it.  Caroline has been telling me that for years and I've always retorted with, "I'm a getter done person", to which she says, "eventually".

            What I want to say to you is, don't be afraid to take a hard look at your own personality traits that might be holding you back from accomplishing your dreams and goals.  Don't be afraid to start over no matter how old you are or whatever the challenge is.  If the light's not green find another path.  You might even have to run an occasional red light.

          I came across this picture the other day and I put it on my desktop to remind myself to stop procrastinating and just do it!
