Greetings!
I've recently been confronted once again with the dilemma of planning. I say dilemma because my natural bent is to go with the flow and put out the fires as they pop up. The problem with that is, everything is always on fire and it's easy to loose sight of the big picture. While thinking about this I was reminded of a great little story by my friend Jorge and thought I would share it. ( Jorge (Horhay) is Latino so in order to get the full effect you need to read it with a Latino accent in mind) Did you ever take a road trip? Didn't you get excited as you prepared. You packed the right clothes and you made sure you had enough money. If you needed to spend the night on the way you kind of had an idea where you were going to stop. If you had been to this place before you had a picture of it in your mind. If you had never been there maybe you had an idea from pictures in a magazine or maybe you just had a name on a map. The thing is you planned the trip. You had a goal. The road signs counted down the mileage building the anticipation. Everything you want in your life is like that. Plan and never lose focus of where you are going. Learn to recognize the road signs. Did you ever hear the old expression, "If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail." Plan your trip and measure your successes. Remember what Yogi said & don't end up somewhere else. Jorge, Transcended Dude I love you guys, God Bless, Don

Please do me a favor. If you are receiving this letter and it says "Greetings" in the opening, drop me a quick reply and tell me your first name. For some reason I have many email addresses with no names attached. Here is the email donsgym@gmail.com
Thanks ,

I'm working on the glass art Facebook page. I'm trying to make it user friendly so you will be able to see a bunch of different selections. Take a look and let me know what you think. I really need your input. Check it out here. |
