Greetings!
We here in Western North Carolina have something to celebrate. Our very own Western Carolina University Marching Band has been selected to march in the Rose Parade New Years day in Pasadena California.
WCU under the direction of my friend Bob Buckner has had an amazing music program for many years and last year they were honored to receive the "Sudler Trophy". This is the University Band equivalent of the "Heisman Trophy" for football.
For the past several years, I along with my good friends at "A to Z Signs and Engraving", have been honored to create Awards for WCU's "Pride of the Mountains", Tournament of Champions. This is a huge invitation only, band competition put on every Fall here in the Mountains.
Good job you guys, enjoy the Southern California sun. I'm speaking that in faith in light of all the rain my wonderful friends in SoCal have had of late.
To everyone receiving this, Thank you for a truly wonderful year. Enjoy the Holiday and have a very prosperous 2011.
