Finding Leads With Facebook
by William Burley |
|
Have you ever thought of using Facebook to find clients for your VA business? Well, if you haven't you should! Facebook is the largest social media networking site in existence with users that total 500 million more people than the total population of the United States. This article will share some practical steps to finding targeted leads for your small business.
Keywords-- Use some of the common keywords for your niche. For example, if you are a provider of administrative support to real estate agents, you could use the keywords "real estate agent". You could also use terms like "apartment locators", "mortgage lenders", "leasing agents", and more. These and other keyword terms can connect you with individuals who might be interested in your services.
Pages and Groups-- Try using a combination of your keywords in a Facebook search. Review the pages and groups that filter to determine if you wish to "like" or join. It is recommended that you join groups that have a healthy number of members and is active. This will present opportunities for you to share your knowledge on many topics more often.
Connecting-- After joining the groups and making comments, find those individuals who share information freely. Connect with them and if they have a fan page be sure to "like" it as well. Post to their wall that you are happy to connect and look forward to networking and exchanging information and ideas. By offering to share information, you are opening the door to further communication. Remember to keep the flow of communication going past the initial contact.
Create your own Virtual Assistant business page. You can do this on facebook if you already have a personal profile on facebook by logging in and going to the General Settings, and at the bottom there is a Create a Page link, click this and then select the category. Then create your business page where people can find you. Be sure to throw in some keywords yourself when creating your page. Then ask your friends to help by Liking your new business page. Someone they know might be looking for help, you never know... Just having your own business page can generate some new leads and it is free!
These are simple steps you can take to connect with a targeted audience on Facebook. Expand upon your keywords and the opportunities for growth in your business will go to new heights.
