Greetings ARMA members and friends,

Happy Almost Spring! It really is scheduled to arrive on March 21, now we just need the weather to cooperate...

Our March 16 meeting is a first time event that we are very excited to be hosting! It is our first Meet and Greet, an appreciation and networking event for ARMA members and friends.

We are most proud and thankful to our sponsors for this meeting:

Diversified Information Technology

Your Board of Directors has been bubbling with ideas on how we could make this a really fun event for you. Here's what we came up with:

  • $20 per person
  • Open Bar
  • Appetizers
  • Door Prizes every 15 minutes
  • Time to network with other RIM experts
  • Talk to vendors, get your questions answered
  • Wearin o' the green (optional)
  • Have fun!
All you have to do is to register, attend, and bring lots of business cards! Don't worry if you don't have any or run out, we will provide cards that you can write on.

This will be an opportunity to network and share your knowledge with other RIM professionals and vendors.  You can take this information back to the office with you as you lead and guide your organization in the world of records and information management.  Information that can give you an edge whether you are dealing with the seasoned employee, influencing management, training new employees, and/or helping those who need that extra "nudge" along in RIM compliance.
On another note, last month we were privileged to have President-elect of ARMA Intl., Galina Datskovsky, CRM, speak about GARP.  Be sure to read further about her presentation and learn more about how you can use the Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles to energize your organization's RIM program.
Thank's again to the Board and everyone who continues to contribute time and energy to help us bring you these monthly educational meetings. Hope to see everyone at Cromwell Crowne Plaza on March 16 to celebrate ARMA, Spring and each other...

ARMAly yours,

 Anita
