Hello,

I'm Sharon Fife and it is my privilege to begin my two year term as President of The Driving School Association of the Americas beginning January 1, 2011. It is a distinct honor to be associated with driving school owners from all regions of the world to share thoughts, goals and ideas in promoting the preparedness of road users everywhere. We, as driving school educators and like-minded professionals are dedicated to the common goal of highway safety. As today's leaders, it is our responsibility to continue the high standard in Driver Education ad Traffic Safety and an even higher standard in professional ethics established by those who proceeded us and which shall be carried on by those who follow. As present day leaders, it is now time, we concentrate our efforts in moving our industry forward. As an association we are working on several projects to promote the industry and raise our standards.

Updating our website:

In the past, our website, www.thedsaa.org, showed all current members, thanks to Sheila Varnado the website map is currently updated, so please check and make sure your information is correct and listed.

Cognifit:

John Svensson is working diligently to get the Cognifit link established on the website and hopes to have it finished soon.

DCA Course:

Spring Seminar in Tulsa, Oklahoma

April 29^th and 30^th in Tulsa, Oklahoma, please check the e-bulletin and website for agenda. Robert Cole has been working very hard in coordinating speakers. The DSAA spring board meeting is held Saturday April 30^th and all are welcome. If you would like to get more involved or just want to know what's going on across the nation please attend the board meeting.

Credit Card Processing

The DSAA has selected TransNational Bankcard as our credit card payment processor. Among the frustrations driving school owners expressed were: hard to understand statements, excessive fees, poor customer service and an inability to clearly determine how much of each customer's payment actually makes it into their bank account.

In a nutshell, TransNational received glowing testimonials from those school owners who are currently clients of TransNational.
