About this Workshop:

Transition to adulthood is a big step requiring careful attention and planning - especially for students with disabilities. Parents are an integral part of the mandated transition planning process that is required for all students with an IEP.   This workshop will provide a practical overview of transition requirements and regulations including the transition time line, vocational evaluations, transition components of the IEP, and developing post secondary goals, as well as strategies for CSE meetings. We will also review the pros and cons of various graduation and diploma options, as well as the essential, but often overlooked skills needed for life after high school and how to use your student's IEP transition plan to achieve them.

Presented by:

Letah Graff, Transition Specialist

and
