Greetings from B & A Realtors
Greetings!

Want to get an IRS tax credit in either 2009 or 2010?

Saving energy can save cash come April!  The federal government is offering some financial incentives in the form of tax credits for home improvements.

Upgrade your insulation, windows, doors, roofing, heating and air-conditioning system or water heater, and you could qualify for a federal tax credit for 30% of the purchase price of the product -- up to a $1,500 maximum credit.

To qualify for the credit, you must place those purchases in service between Jan. 1, 2009 and Dec. 31, 2010.

Proper Position at the Computer Keyboard
By Bruce Ahnberg, Office Direct Furniture

Slouching, slumping or bending forward at the waist in a chair can lead to discomfort, fatigue and backache. A computer screen or mouse in the wrong position can cause fatigue, discomfort, and even injury over time. Follow these guidelines to help prevent problems from occurring when sitting at your desk or computer.

WorkStation Position

A.    Adjust seat height so that thighs are approximately parallel to the floor. Seat pan short enough (front to back) for knee clearance. About two fingers between the knee and the seat front.

B.      Sit with your back touching the seat back. Adjust the back rest to accommodate the normal curve of the lower spine.

C.     Top one-third of the screen should be at or below eye level; distance from operator a minimum of 18", typically at arm's length.

 D.     Keep your elbows relaxed. Lower arm open at least 90°-100° to upper arm with keyboard platform set at 0°-6° negative tilt.

E.      Wrists should be a natural extension of the forearm, not angled up or down. Neutral position.

F.      Keyboard flat at elbow level with palm rest to support hands during rest.

 G.     Feet resting firmly on the floor; footrest needed if feet are not supported by the floor.

H.     Document holder in line with front of monitor. Height and angle adjusted for the comfort of the user.

TIP: Take frequent rest breaks. Stretch and massage your hands and arms to promote blood flow and recovery of tissues and joints.

Client Testimonial:

"Carla was very professional, personable and understood The Villages very well. We have worked with many real estate agents over the years, but none who knew their territory as well as Carla. When you are going to make an investment of this significance, you want an expert in that area, and she was it. Carla continues to follow up with us and we appreciate that kind of service."
