November 1, 2010 Anzalone Liszt Research National Polling Summary
|
Friends,
With tomorrow marking the culmination of a long campaign season, we wanted to take a moment to express how tremendously proud we are to have worked with so many of you on advancing a middle class agenda this cycle. Regardless of the outcome, we have appreciated the opportunity to assist in helping reform health insurance, give workers and small businesses the help they need to get back on their feet, hold Wall Street accountable to the American people, and so much more. But we know there are a number of tough legislative fights ahead of us---from jobs and immigration to civil rights and energy---and we will be excited to roll up our sleeves again on November 3rd.
In lieu of a traditional newsletter, we thought you may enjoy something a bit more lighthearted this week. Below we have listed some of our favorite political ads of the cycle (Dem and Rep). Media firms on both sides of the aisle deserve a lot of credit for distilling the passions of the moment and keeping things interesting for all of us.
We wish everyone the best of luck tomorrow.

Three quick programming notes before the videos:
- Remember to participate in ALR's "Beat the Pollsters" free election pool. There is a $1,000 price for first place. The contest takes about 20 minutes.
- Remember to vote today for your favorite pundit in the Washington Post's "America's Next Great Pundit" contest. Lauren Hogan, wife of ALR VP Matt Hogan, is one of three finalists. This is the final vote, and it closes at 6pm EST today.
- Everyone needs a non-political book to help unwind after the elections. We recommend checking out Miles DeMott's new book, "Family Meeting." Amazon link here.
