Fresh off
of several key victories this cycle, including wins in two Congressional
special elections, Democratic polling firm Anzalone Liszt Research (ALR) has
added three senior hires to its Washington D.C. office. Brian Stryker, Molly
Murphy, and Mark Keida round out the D.C. team headed by vice president Matt
Hogan.
Stryker
provides strategic guidance to congressional and state legislative candidates
at all levels of government, and recently led the ALR effort in the PA-12
special election for the DCCC IE. Brian brings over six years of experience in
polling and voter contact. Prior to ALR, Brian worked for the polling firm
Greenberg Quinlan Rosner and the National Committee for an Effective Congress
(NCEC). Stryker hails from Seattle
and is a graduate of the University
of Washington.
Murphy
develops and executes polling and provides strategic guidance to candidates and
campaigns across the country. Molly brings over four years of political polling
and campaign experience, most recently with the polling firm Greenberg Quinlan
Rosner. She was also on the ground for Tim Kaine's 2005 gubernatorial campaign
in Virginia.
Molly is from Virginia
and is a graduate of the University
of Mary Washington.
Keida directs
business development and ALR's online and future research practice. Mark brings
over five years of experience in political polling, campaigns, and research.
Prior to ALR, Mark was an analyst at the polling firm Lake Research Partners
and a researcher at the AFL-CIO's Solidarity Center. He got his start in D.C. as a
staffer on the Hill. Mark is from Ohio
and holds a PhD in political science from Miami University (OH).
"Jeff Liszt
and I are thrilled to expand our presence in Washington D.C.
with seasoned talent. Brian, Molly, and Mark have been on the ground and know
what it takes to win tough campaigns. They will be a real asset to this company
and its clients," John Anzalone said.
Anzalone Liszt Research was
part of the Obama polling team in 2008 (Florida,
North Carolina
and Virginia),
and for the past two cycles has won more Republican-held seats in Congress than
any other polling firm. ALR currently polls for two senators and 19 House
Members, plus the IE programs for the DSCC, DCCC and DGA. Current 2010 U.S.
Senate clients include Charlie Melancon and Paul Hodes. Gubernatorial clients
include Pat Quinn (IL), Rory Reid (NV) and Frank Caprio (RI).
