National Polling Summary

Cal Cunningham has always fought for North Carolina and its families. After 9/11 Cal joined the Army reserves to fight for his country. Through two tours in Iraq, Cal became a lead military prosecutor, earning a Bronze Star for cracking down on contractor fraud that short-changed the troops and wasted taxpayer dollars. As a State Senator, Cal fought to lower classroom sizes, and to create jobs for North Carolina families. Richard Burr has voted eighteen times to send jobs overseas and Cal says it is time that North Carolinians have someone that fights for them in the US Senate. Cal has a comprehensive plan to create jobs through job-creation tax credits, clean energy business zones, investments in education and opposing bad trade deals. Welcome to the Anzalone Liszt Research National Polling Summary, a quick look at national public polls detailing key political environmental measures as well as attitudes of voters on the pressing issues of the week.

A new ABC News/ Washington Post poll this week confirms previous polling, which shows that 65% of American's support regulating the way that banks do business. Likewise, a solid majority of Americans trust President Obama over Congressional Republicans to deal with regulating the financial industry.
